Roofline Security Lighting in Prosper, TX

The same lights that make the house look good can also make it easier to see. At full brightness in a crisp white, roofline lights wash the driveway, the walkway and the side yards with light from above.

Run them on a schedule every night, or turn them up from your phone when you hear something outside or you’re pulling in late.

Why light the outside of the house

  • See what’s out there

Bright white light along the eaves lights up the areas around the house that porch lights don’t reach.

  • Looks lived-in

Schedules keep the house lit while you’re traveling, the same as when you’re home.

  • Safer steps

Light on the driveway and walkway helps when you’re carrying groceries or coming home after dark.

  • Bright on demand

Turn the lights up from your phone in a second, wherever you are.

  • Automatic schedules

Dusk-to-dawn or dusk-to-bedtime timers run without you.

  • Two jobs, one system

Bright white for security, soft white for curb appeal, colors for the holidays.

Dark streets in newer neighborhoods

Some newer neighborhoods and rural-edge lots around Prosper, Celina and Aubrey have fewer streetlights than older suburbs, and it gets very dark between houses at night. Builders usually put a light by the front door and the garage and stop there.

Roofline lighting covers the whole perimeter of the house from above. It isn’t a replacement for cameras or an alarm system, but it makes the outside of the house easier to see and harder to ignore.

Questions about security & safety lighting

Are permanent lights bright enough for security?

At full brightness in white, they put out a useful wash of light along the walls and driveway. They’re not stadium floodlights. If you need a specific area lit very brightly, we’ll tell you whether roofline lights alone will do it.

Can the lights work with motion sensors or cameras?

That depends on the controller and what you already have. Ask about it at your design visit and we’ll explain what your system can connect to.

Will bright lights bother my neighbors?

The lights point down along your house, not out at the street, and you control the brightness and hours. Many homeowners run a softer setting until bedtime and only go bright when they need it.
